50mL tube adapter

If you have access to a 3D printer, I know a lab that printed up a tube adapter for a 50mL conical tubes on the PREP, and a custom definition has been done for it. I can’t upload the files to this post (wrong file formats) but if you want them, message me and I’ll share them with you!

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL HAMILTON PRODUCT. (wanted to make it clear, esp. since I work for them) Just thought the community might benefit from this.

Michael send it my way please! We’ll need this in the future for MM creation.

You can always upload files via Thingiverse, Printables, or even this NIH 3d Print Exchange.

Might be a good idea for this forum to have a database of STL and STEP files. Can’t count the number of times I’ve needed to bust out the 3D printer has saved my life.

I’ve got a few adapters that I’ve modeled over the years collecting dust on my hard drive, it would be nice to have a central place for that.

The NIH collection is great, needs a lab automation section :joy:

FYI if anyone wants an updated file, let me know–it’s still unofficial, but one of our apps guys made a more official unofficial carrier, lol. Got a new custom definition on it; handles cLLD more reliably than the first version.
