Hamilton Wide Bore Tips not touching bottom of plate

Help wanted.

I have standard Ham tips and wide bore 1000ul which are around 3mm shorter.

Could somebody please advise on best practice to adjust tip definition to allow it to go lower?

What version of VENUS software are you using? Wide bore tip definitions and liquid classes are included with VENUS 6.

For previous versions, you can run this installer to get all the labware definitions and liquid classes for wide bore tips. Please note that this installer also updates a configuration file which adds these tip types so you should run this installer on each setup you have.

I probably should also clarify that there are several wide bore options for both 300 and 1000µL tips with different orifice sizes.
