Hamilton Z Channel Error

Hi Folks!

First time posting here, so feel free to ask for more details/direct me in the right direction for this post.

We recently ran a method that lost fidelity with a channel, and then causing an inability to initialize the robot and run any method types at all. The only thing we could find is the attached issue in the log file, making for a perplexing issue. The issue has since been resolved through restarting the machine, but interrupted a key method that resulted in a less than desirable outcome (spillage of material, etc.)

Does anybody have any ideas as to what could cause this?

Thanks!

K

Hello @Kastronaut,

The snippet indicates that something occurred prior to the lines provided that resulted in a need to abort or re-init the instrument. Could you please provide the full trace file? Additionally, when was this instrument last serviced by a Hamilton Service Engineer?

Hi William!

Thanks for being so prompt, I’ve attached the trace file here. The system has not been serviced in quite some time.

Apologies for the lengthy post:

It looks like you are getting a hardware error on channel 8 during the initialize step. I see that a service work order was created for this system on 11/11 to schedule a repair. I believe that would be prudent, but if you continue to have issues, please let us know.
